ClayCal is a web-based homeschool scheduling and curriculum planning tool. The Service allows users to create schedules for students, track educational progress, and manage homeschool curricula. Features may change over time as we improve the Service.
3. Account Registration
To use ClayCal, you must:
- Be at least 18 years old or have parental consent
- Provide accurate and complete registration information
- Maintain the security of your account credentials
- Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access
- Accept responsibility for all activities under your account

5. User Content
You retain ownership of content you create in ClayCal (student information, schedules, notes, etc.). By using the Service, you grant us a limited license to store, process, and display your content solely to provide the Service to you.
You are responsible for ensuring you have the right to enter any information into the Service and that such information does not violate any third-party rights.
6. Subscription and Payment
6.1 Free Tier
We offer a free tier with limited features. Free accounts are subject to usage limits that may change over time.
6.2 Paid Subscriptions
Paid subscriptions are billed in advance on a monthly or annual basis. Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled before the renewal date.
6.3 Refunds
We offer refunds within 14 days of initial purchase if you are unsatisfied with the Service. Contact us at support@claycal.com to request a refund.
7. Intellectual Property
The Service, including its design, features, code, and content (excluding user-generated content), is owned by ClayCal and protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works based on our Service without explicit permission.
8. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms or engage in conduct that we determine is harmful to other users, us, or third parties. You may also delete your account at any time through your account settings.
Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. We will delete your data according to our Privacy Policy.
9. Disclaimer of Warranties
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR SECURE. WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.
10. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, HOMESCHOLAR SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING LOSS OF DATA, PROFITS, OR GOODWILL, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.
11. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless ClayCal and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including attorney's fees) arising from your use of the Service, violation of these Terms, or infringement of any third-party rights.
12. Dispute Resolution
Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the Service shall be resolved through binding arbitration in accordance with the rules of the American Arbitration Association. You agree to waive your right to a jury trial and to participate in class action lawsuits.
13. Governing Law
